"This is a beautiful retreat in the high peaks. It’s cozy and has everything you need to feel right at home. Lots of personal touches (including for little visitors) that make it feel welcoming and comfortable for the whole family. The personal view point and route to Baxter Mt. helped to get a quick hike in during nap time. Memories were made here and we hope to be back."

"We had such a lovely stay at Baxter Ridge Retreat in Keene, NY. The property is absolutely perfect—set on a large, private piece of land with its own trails and incredible views. The hosts thought of many extra details, from thoughtful touches like makeup towels to a handy digital welcome guide. We enjoyed the stocked kitchen! The furniture in this home was above average with very comfortable quality mattresses, a stressless chair, and a sofa I never wanted to get up from.
We used the retreat as our base to explore the many charming Adirondack towns nearby, and each day we looked forward to coming back to relax on the porch. Sitting outside with the breeze in the trees was the perfect way to end an adventure-filled day.
A wonderful, peaceful retreat—we can’t wait to come back!"

"This place was INCREDIBLE. So peaceful and serene. The indoor wood stove was the perfect mood setter.. All appliances were top of the line, all furniture was comfortable, we felt immediately right at home. We don’t have children but they literally had EVERYTHING to accommodate kids.. from Owala (top brand name) sippy cups down to a sound machine that I even used for myself to fall asleep to. They supplied a fresh bag of coffee that was Delicious and I admit.. I definitely took the rest the rest home. Thank you Mike & Ashley for making my birthday getaway PERFECT!"
